At Home - Oh Family
It was a day of firsts. Emma climbed stairs for the first time and it was my first time documenting a family. I’ve been drawn to family documentation for a while now. It’s a strange privilege, doors usually closed now opened, stories shared that you otherwise wouldn’t know. There’s an emotional push and pull to documenting families which I’m quite drawn to. I think about my own childhood photos with the majority of them being posed. Everything else left to memory. I still think about the mundane growing up, wishing to see it again. Grateful to the Ohs for giving me their morning, for sharing their stories so openly. I got to witness my friends growing into parents and I’m grateful for that. What a privilege it is to document.
